New Release: “Ups & Downs” by Eesah, Warrior Sound & Culture Rock

On October 18th, Warrior Sound is set to release a brand-new single together with Jamaican artist Eesah and Culture Rock Sound from Düsseldorf, Germany. The track, titled Ups & Downs, is a modern roots anthem that carries both the energy and depth we’ve been looking for in our collaborative journey.

I first came across Eesah back in 2022 in Kingston. At the time, I had already been following his work, especially his productions with Little Lion and Silly Walks Sound. His unique style, his flow, and his vibe immediately caught my attention. When we met in person, we instantly connected – it felt like we were on the same wavelength from the very start. We exchanged contacts, stayed in touch, and I began sending him instrumentals every now and then.

Later, when I returned to Jamaica, we met again in his studio in Vineyard Town, Kingston, and quickly started writing and recording together. Within no time, we had two songs ready, both of which have already been released. Since then, we’ve continued building, creating, and sharing music – and right now, we’re working on a joint Eesah x Warrior Sound EP, which is scheduled to drop in spring 2026.

Ups & Downs is the first single leading up to that EP. The riddim was created by Culture Rock Sound, and I brought Eesah in to shape the song and push the vision we had with this forward. The result is a track that I believe captures the essence of modern roots reggae while staying authentic and powerful.
